Throughline

A modular synth plugin. Patch oscillators, filters, modulation, and effects as nodes on a canvas, and play the result like an instrument.

Throughline is the plugin you patch.

Sound sources, filters, modulation, routing, and effects are nodes on a canvas, and the cables between them are the signal path. There is no hidden matrix behind a menu: what you see in the graph is what the audio engine runs.

See the sound you’re hearing. A patch reads like a signal-flow diagram because it is one. When something moves you, you can point at why. When something is off, you can trace it. You never memorise where a setting lives; you recognise the patch the way you’d read a pedalboard.

Experiment at the speed of a cable. Patch an LFO into something it has no business modulating, and listen. Every connection is visible, so every experiment is reversible — pull the cable and you’re back. The graph invites the what-if.

Stay in the sound. Drag from any socket and the nodes that fit come to you; drop, wire, keep listening. No windows to juggle, no matrix page to visit — the whole instrument is one surface, and your hands stay on it.

Build the Signal Path

Connect synth, modulation, routing, and effect nodes. Drag from any socket and Throughline suggests nodes that fit, so you never leave the canvas.

See Every Modulation Route

Draw modulation the way you draw audio — routes are cables like everything else, not entries in a hidden matrix. Every source and destination sits on the canvas, next to the sound it shapes.

One Voice, Many Notes

Build a single voice inside a Polyphony Zone and play it as a polyphonic instrument. The zone handles voice allocation, so one voice is all you wire.

Patch Synths, Effects & MIDI

Mix domains in one graph: sequence MIDI, synthesise the notes, and process the result without leaving the canvas. The same nodes work wherever Throughline sits in your session.
